As you prepare for your trip to San Juan for the conference, we want to share a quick travel tip. Since Hurricane Maria in 2017, Puerto Rico has occasionally experienced power outages. While these are usually brief and sporadic, it’s good to be aware of them during your visit.
The Fairmont El San Juan is well-equipped with backup generators that activate within seconds, ensuring a seamless experience at the hotel. However, if you plan to explore beyond the hotel, please note that not all locations have backup power. We recommend keeping your phone charged and carrying a small power bank, just in case.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to a fantastic conference with you in beautiful San Juan!
