Uses viral-vector gene transfer and advanced microscopy to study dynamic neuronal and synaptic changes in Alzheimer's disease. Combines AAV-based manipulation, multiphoton imaging, array tomography, and in vivo microdialysis to evaluate how APOE isoforms and other targets modify amyloid deposition, synapse loss, and therapeutic response.
