Investigates interactions among neuroinflammation, vascular dysfunction, traumatic brain injury, tau pathology, and Alzheimer's disease. Uses diffusion MRI, histology, biochemistry, and in vivo two-photon microscopy to determine how microvascular changes alter blood flow and contribute to neurodegeneration.
