CCAD Alum Celeste Karch, PhD Named Inaugural Morriss Professorship at WashU
CCAD alumni Celeste Karch, PhD, has been named the inaugural holder of the Barbara Burton and Reuben M. Morriss III Professorship at Washington University in St. Louis, recognizing her outstanding contributions to Alzheimer’s and neurodegeneration research. Her work focuses on uncovering the genetic and cellular mechanisms that drive disease progression, including the use of patient-derived stem cell models and large-scale genomics to better understand risk and resilience in Alzheimer’s disease.
