CCAD Connections

Welcome to summer! As restrictions begin to lift and logistics around COVID-19 change with the success of vaccines, we are excited to proceed with this year’s conference from September 16- 18, 2021, in Charleston, SC. We are also looking ahead to 2022 which marks the tenth anniversary of the Charleston Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease. To commemorate this milestone, we invite all CCAD alumni to attend the CCAD 10 th Anniversary Celebration in Honolulu, Hawaii from April 4-8, 2022. One of New Vision Research’s goals is to promote the cross-pollination of ideas in AD research and we encourage all CCAD alumni to join us in Hawaii in 2022 to share your work.

As many of you sadly know, earlier this year Charlie Dorego, one of the founders of CCAD, passed away. The CCAD 10th Anniversary Celebration will be held in honor of Charlie Dorego and the late Peter Davies. Both individuals were instrumental in the creation and success of CCAD.
