Karen Duff, PhD

Dr. Karen Duff has worked on Alzheimer’s disease for more than 15 years, first creating transgenic mouse models of the disease, then testing therapeutic approaches to treating the disease in the mouse models. Lately, her lab has started looking at other neurodegenerative diseases including Tauopathies and Parkinson’s disease.Dr. Duff’s work on AD was honored with the 2006 Potamkin Prize.
